“Project Management Around the World – Africa #PMFlashBlog” was the topic of the 34th hangout of the Sensible Project Manager Hangout Community. In this community of project managers and others who enjoy discussing project management topics, we have a weekly hangout which is hosted via Google+ Hangout. These hangouts are held each Friday at 9:00am pacific time.

In this hangout, Linky van der Merwe from South Africa shared her thoughts about what project management is like in her part of the world. Linky was a participant in the second round of the #PMFlashBlog “Project Management Around the World”.

Linky lives in Cape Town, South Africa and writes on her website Virtual Project Consulting. During the hangout she referenced some interesting projects which highlight the project management profession in South Africa.
